Call No. 400.1.1.671
25th of 9th mo 1812
Dear [tear in paper] -le
I have an oppertunity of -iting to thee by William Musgrave who is
wating and in a hurry so that I shall not be able to write so full
as I could wish I have been long looking for a letter from thee
desiring to hear from my business in them parts, pleas to write
to me by post, and let me know how Mallers stands in respect to that
lawsuit - also in respect of a title bond I in closed in a letter
to thee by John Pervis against Richard Cox the deed is much wanting
as my son James has married Joseph Halls daughter and he has given
it to him as far as he can, but is at a loss for a right from Richard
Cox - Joseph Hall spoke to me a few days past, to write to thee on the
occasion, and would be glad that thee would get a deed executed from
Richard and send it by William Musgrave well except my self and I am
much better than I was last spring - so in a great hurry I conclude
and remain thy effectionate cousin
James Edgerton
