Location: on the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park property. You will need to stop at the office on the right just after you enter the park to request permission to the cemetery as you will have to go through their maintenance area.

    The epitaphs are as follows:

    Casey-Wiggins Cemetery Established 1876 Wright Casey son of William Casey was born 1824 on his father’s plantation on Bear Creek. He died 1876 on his own plantation on what is now the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park. Mary Harrell Casey Wife of Wright Casey 1832-1900 Mary and Wright Casey along with their Daughter Louisa H. Wiggins and her husband James William Wiggins are buried in this family cemetery. Lewis Hinson April 15 1860 March 10 1928 Mattie Wife of Lewis Hinson Died February 6 1904 Aged 50 years Louise Wiggins Aug 26 1857 Sept 5 1905 James William Wiggins Sept 22 1855 Mar 23 1938 Unidentified grave with wooden marker
