Born in Southampton County, Virginia
Son of George W and Elizabeth Carr Williams
Married Edith Ann Parker in St. Luke Episcopal Church, Courtland, VA Jan 1 1879
Purchased 419 acres here in 1805.  
Children:  Elizabeth, Margaret, James, Robert and Mack.  
Edith Ann buried in Marengo Co., Alabama while living with her daughter, 
Elizabeth W. Kornegay. 
Old upright in the background is blank and broken with the top part missing and
